I don't post here very often, but I really liked this meme that madwitch    posted. I'm quite surprised I read 9 out of the top 10, and even more surprised by some of the books that made the list (and some notable absences). I read over 30 of the 100 - not bad considering I lived for 25 years in a non-English-speaking country! And hurrah for the amount of fantasy/sci-fi greats! :)

1) Look at the list and bold those you have read.
2) Italicise those you intend to read.
3) Underline the books you LOVE, or strikeout the books you read but didn't like.

I'm breaking my LJ silence to post a meme I saw in a few of my friend's journals and HAD TO complete. Here it goes!

Next week I fly back to Rio for much-needed holidays. Three weeks in Brazil are hardly enough (they weren't last time!), but it's all I can get now that I am a working girl again.

An added bonus is that some friends here are organising a trip to France as soon as I get back, so I'll be heading to Lille for the weekend a few days after getting back to London! Yay!

... at least now I have internet at home. Had a busy weekend, a good one, but I still have to watch a lot of movies to catch up with recent releases. Sin City is out this week - can't wait!
